Back this year is the Bardolino Grape and Wine Festival which runs from September 29th  to October 3rd, 2011. This traditional festival, dedicated to fine Italian Bardolino wine, is now in its 82nd edition and offers visitors all sorts to see and do around the charming town of Bardolino which is located on the eastern shore of Lake Garda.

The 82nd Bardolino Grape and Wine Festival

During the five-day festival, this suggestive lakeside town comes alive with numerous events and shows, including evening concerts, food and, of course, stands dedicated to Bardolino wine with plenty of opportunities for wine tasting.  There will also be fashion shows, live music and theatre, as well as conferences and meetings dedicated to the subject of wine, plus displays showing off the best grapes and the best wine.

Coinciding with the start of the annual grape harvest, this annual appointment with its wonderful food and wine aims to continue to spread the word on the already globally recognised wines of the Bardolino area of Italy.  Visitors should make a special point of browsing the wine stands situated along the lakeside promenade.
