Once again, the city of Como plays host to the XVIII edition of the Miniartextil international exhibition of contemporary textile art from September 24th to November 20th. This year’s theme is “nature’s matrix” – how nature inspires the creativity in contemporary art.

This exhibition, one of the largest of its kind in the world, has taken place in Como since 1991. Each year this event provides its visitors with an overview of the latest developments in the world of contemporary textile art.

Energy will be a key feature of this year’s edition which includes Energheia: a focus on the energy which drives each artists creativity. Artistic energy and creativity will be illustrated by a series of minitessili installations and performances.
