Christmas Markets around Lake Maggiore
Although Christmas is not just around the corner, around Lake Maggiore in the Val d’Ossola area, they’ve been getting ready for the most exciting events of the year. Dates have already been set for a whole host of Christmas markets.
As ever, tradition reigns supreme. This year’s festive markets will feature a delicious range of local foods, wines and lots of other sweet seasonal goodies, plus, of course, lots of Christmas decorations.
The atmosphere of Christmas markets in the Lake Maggiore is magical making visits a memorable experience. You’ll find yourself in the midst of the mountains in charming towns and villages plus, with a little luck, there will be a dusting of snow enhancing the festive feel!

8th December: Dormelletto
8th and 9th December: Macugnaga Monte Rosa
10th an 11th December: Santa Maria Maggiore
11th December: Arona
16th to 18th December: Domodossola
